Top 5 Reasons Winter Park Has The Best Tubing Near Denver

If you’re looking for mountain thrills for all ages, you’ve found ’em! Bring the whole crew for fun in the fast lane, incredible views, and sweet treats at the Coca Cola® Tube Park.

1. Play Like A Kid

With three individual lanes, exciting banked curves, and a covered conveyor lift ride back to the top, the Coca Cola® Tube Park is a thrill for all ages! Keep it cool and casual with a classic solo ride down the slope, jazz things up with a spin from your helpful tubing hill facilitator, or link up with your friends for a thrill! There is no age minimum, you just must be at least 36″ tall to participate, so get ready for fun for the whole bunch!

2. Fun For Everyone

No need to worry about greens, blues, or blacks here—just sit back and enjoy the ride at the best winter tubing spot near Denver! Sure, there might be a “fast lane,” but we’ll leave it to you to gauge your own need for speed.

3. Mountain Views

Winter Park is so close to Denver, yet feels so far away (in the best way). Nestled along the Continental Divide, you’ll be greeted with 360-degree views and fresh mountain air at over 9,000 feet.

4. Sweet Treats

The cherry on top, or should we say marshmallow, is the gourmet hot chocolate (of both the boozy and booze-free variety) and freshly-baked cookies in the warming hut. Between tubing laps, warm up with gooey cookies and kick back by the fireplace while still keeping an eye on the tubing lanes via livestream monitors. You can even stick around for a giant game of Jenga or cornhole.

5. More to Explore

As North America’s #1 Ski Resort (voted by USA Today readers 2 years in a row!), you’ll be nestled at the base of world-class slopes, so of course you could add skiing to your itinerary. Grab rentals right at the base for the ultimate convenience-factor, and save on lift tickets when you purchase online in advance.

If skiing’s not your speed, there are plenty of activities, shopping, dinning, and more, all within walking distance!

Get on the hill sans skis with a mountain tour. Strap on a pair of snowshoes, sight see from the comfort of a heated snowcat, or take a scenic ride on the gondola to Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge for great views and maybe even Mountaintop Après or dinner.

Feeling like you can’t possibly fit all that action in one day? Explore tons of lodging options, all within walking distance so you don’t have to!

Check out the pet-friendly Vintage Hotel, the updated accommodations and an expansive amenity deck of Fraser Crossing/Founders Pointe, or ski-in ski-out from Zephyr Mountain Lodge.

Helpful Tips

No car? No problem! Catch a ride on the Home James Transportation shuttle from DIA. With multiple trips daily, it’s easy to reserve a shuttle ride to fit your schedule.

You can also hop aboard the Amtrak Winter Park Express for a relaxing, scenic ride from downtown Denver right to Winter Park Resort! Once you arrive slopeside (via the only train in North America that drops off right at the slopes), meander through the Winter Park Village and hop on the free cabriolet up to the tubing hill.

Advanced reservations for tubing are recommended, so save your spot here! Want the hill all to yourself for a birthday party, family reunion, or corporate retreat? Find out about group bookings by calling 970-726-1568.
