What’s New This Spring

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: There’s no skiing like spring skiing! Every year, you can expect to get your fill of brilliant bluebird views and see smiles around every corner, but we do like to keep things fresh. So, here are a few new ways you can explore the mountain this spring.

Après at Mary Jane

, What’s New This Spring

If you ask us, every time is a good time for après, but there’s something about lounging on a sunny deck that makes beer tastes so much better. Cruise down to Club Car every Saturday from 2-5pm for food and drink specials and a live DJ set from 2-4pm.

Chicken Spot

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Honestly, no clue, but what we do know is you can get some of the best chicken on the mountain at the NEW Chicken Spot! Take the Gondola up to Sunspot for a full menu of creative, gluten-friendly chicken dishes and over ten sauces and dips to choose from. Pull up a chair and dig in from 11am-2pm Thursday-Sunday.

Spring Bash + Splash 2024

, What’s New This Spring

We host Spring Bash + Splash every year, but it’s never the same event twice. Come join us from March 30-April 21 for four jam-packed weekends of free concerts, themed parties, and nonstop action on the mountain. This year, we’ve got plenty of new additions from free retro haircuts to recess games on the slopes and more. Come see it for yourself, and maybe get a mullet while you’re at it.

Sundog Taproom

You know what they say, sunny days call for Sundog! Okay, you might not have heard that yet, but that’s only because Sundog Taproom is brand-new this season. With 30+ self-pour taps and handheld eats like empanadas, it’s bound to be your crew’s HQ for the rest of the season.

A New Passion

, What’s New This Spring

Spring is for turning new leaves, or trying out new turns. Switch up your mountain routine and try a different snow sport with our Learn to Ski or Ride package from $169, which includes a half-day group lesson, lift access, and equipment rentals. If you’ve always been a skier, but you can admit snowboarding looks pretty cool (or vice versa), this is your moment!

Already tried both? Two words: Ski Bike. Trust us, it’s 100% worth it.

New Skills

New this season, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders can start their day off with a 60-Minute Pro Tips session. For just $99, you’ll have an hour of 1:1 coaching with an expert, so you can shake bad habits, cement good ones, and then get back on the mountain to test it all out for yourself. Not to mention, class starts at 8am, which means fresh tracks and no lines.

What Will You Discover?

No two days are ever the same at Winter Park, especially during springtime. Between the nonstop events, gorgeous weather, and great energy, there’s never been a better time to find fresh experiences. So, pack your sunscreen (and maybe your inflatable dinosaur costume) and let’s explore!
