Welcome back! Summer is finally here and with Venture Out Fest kicking off the season on Saturday we couldn’t be more excited for the amazing few months ahead.

Come check out our amazing new offerings and prepare for a summer like never before!

Venture Out Fest:

Start the summer right with a day full of activities and events fit for the entire family. From watching professional dock dogs leap through the air, to catching the mountainous tunes of bluegrass band Wood Belly, this Saturday is the perfect way to shift into your summer gear.

While the day will be LOADED with all sorts of activities and entertainment, check out our list of must-do’s for your official start to summer at Winter Park Resort:

1. Dock Dogs: It’s a canine competition like no other! Come be amazed by the athleticism of these professional pooches as they soar through the air and into the Village pond. This is an event you won’t want to miss! Stop by and watch between 10am-5pm.
2. Wood Belly bluegrass band: Winners of the 2018 Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition, Wood Belly will be showcasing their quintessential Colorado sound at the Village stage from 12-4pm.
3. Big Air & Flatland Freestyle: Come watch these BMX pros put on a show! You’ll be amazed at what these riders can do on their bikes and with shows at both 12pm and 2pm you’ll be able to catch all of the two-wheeled action you want!
4. Fly Fishing Demo & Clinic: No matter if you’re looking to learn a new skill or hone in on your technique, the fly fishing demo at the Village pond will have everyone from first-timers to experienced anglers casting a fly rod like a pro. Stop by and cast a line during any of the following times: 12, 12:30, 2 & 2:30pm.
5. Teton Gravity Research Movie “UnReal”: Be inspired by the thrill-seeking world of Mountain Biking with the showing of UnReal, a TGR film that has captured the interest of passionate bikers and outdoor enthusiasts alike with stunning visuals that will inspire anyone to Venture Out.
