Not to be too mushy, but we love slushy spring skiing in the Mary Jane Territory. We’re currently thanking our lucky stars that the snow keeps coming and that Mary Jane Territory is staying open until May 6th!
We’ve had eleven inches of new snow in the past week, so April has been delivering the goods!
With a base depth of 82″, there’s plenty of snow still ripe for the skiing. We have 67 trails open with access from the Super Gauge, Sunnyside, Galloping Goose, and Panoramic Express lifts. With projected temperatures in the 30s and 40s, you can expect comfortable skiing conditions and plenty of sunshine.
Where to Ride:
Spring weather means rapidly changing snow conditions. In the morning, head up the Pano lift to make the most of any new snow. Next, make your way to Mary Jane trail. Midday is when the runs on that side of the mountain are at maximum softness. To close out your day, hit Roundhouse for some smooth, slushy fun with a few soft bumps back down to Corona way, which is your gateway to any parking lot at the Jane base.
Music at the Jane kicks off this weekend with Andy Straus playing on the Club Car patio on Saturday from 2-4:30pm, where you can also enjoy happy hour food and drink specials.
Winter Park side has closed up shop for the season, but Mary Jane is staying open until May 6th, so there’s still time to get some great turns before the big melt!
