Snow Reports, Winter

Snow Report May 9

The time has come, the last weekend of the season is here. While we’re sad to see the season come to a close we’re excited to look back and share some of our favorite memories of this amazing winter. From the opening of The Gondola, to the start of our new on-mountain guide program, here’s a look back on the 2018/19 season.

Closing Weekend

We’ve all got 3 more days to get our fill of snowy turns before the skis, boots, jackets, and goggles get packed away until next season. Join us at Mary Jane for 3 days full of excellent skiing. Thanks to the 3” we received today and the cooler temperatures, the snow has stayed fresh for us while we close out the ski season.

Between the skiing and the socializing, there’s plenty of ways to maximize your closing weekend fun. Here’s our end-of-season checklist to help you get the most out of your last days spent on the snow:

  • Find the freshies atop the Panoramic Lift; there’s plenty of untouched pow thanks to this week’s snow!
  • Soak in the views from a Lunch Rock beach chair. The best views and the comfiest place for a midday rest on the mountain.
  • Catch some live music at the base of Mary Jane. Andy Strauss will be playing from 1:30-3:30 on the Club Car deck (Saturday).
  • Park in the Utah Junction lot to tailgate slope side. Bring the grill, crack a beer, and enjoy the last days of the season with your new friends.

Stay Tuned

Thanks for joining us for this amazing season at Winter Park, it’s been our pleasure to keep you updated on everything happening both on and off the mountain. The fun doesn’t stop here though, we’ll be keeping you updated on all of the summer fun coming your way. Stay tuned for updates on hiking trails, Trestle Bike Park, activities at the base, and more! See you this summer!
