Snow Reports

Snow Report March 21

March snow showers aren’t holding back this year. With already nearly 2 feet of snow in the last week, Winter Park is your home for the best skiing in Colorado. We’re rocking a 73-inch base, which is unquestionably the highest in the state.

More snow is on the way with the potential for up to 23 more inches to fall by this time next week! It’s quite the time to be skiing WPR!

Conditions:

You can’t take a bad turn with snow this good. But as the day progresses and the sun comes out, it’s always good to stick to North and East facing runs with higher elevations. They are guaranteed to provide the best of the best conditions!

We are up to 229” for the season, which gives us the deepest base depth and the highest snowfall in the state this season. We’ve already received 33.5 inches this month and are on pace to hit our 52-inch monthly average.

Where to Ride:

Ski Patrol never fails to share the goods with us. If you’re looking for some sure powder spots, you gotta hit Eagle Wind. Explore the wide expanses of Belle Fourche, Left Hand, and the steeps and cliffs of Medicine Man and Black Coal. The Cirque and Parsenn Bowl are both holding great snow meaning you’re up for an adventure tackling those areas.

Feeling like carving some groomers? On the Winter Park side, the soft snow will make for great runs on Cheshire Cat and Jabberwocky.

Event Updates:
