Snow Reports

Snow Report February 5

And just like that we are into February folks!

What a snowy start it has been! The last week has brought 11 inches of snow to our pocket on the divide. Mother Nature was good to us, dolling out this storm more heavily to us than any other resort along I-70! We are living a powder dream right now!

Conditions:

Even with things getting a little warm at the base, the snowpack has stayed cold midway and higher. Although the storm brought snow, it also brought the wind. Upside to that is the wind has redistributed some of that fresh snow lower down, serving skiers some nice pockets of pow. Pop into some shady areas to avoid the afternoon sunshine that has baked some of the surface snow.

Where to Ride:

Cannonball is “skiing great” says patrol! They also recommend Sterling Way and Golden Spike over at the Jane! Pair that with the new Jane Cafe Happy Hour ($3 Draft beers and $3 tacos) and you got yourself a day at the mountain that’ll make you wonder why you ever leave this place.

Terrain Updates:

Wind holds have put The Cirque on standby, but hopefully, the winds of change will move in and give us an opportunity to get that open for directive skiing. This last storm bumped our base up to 52 inches so we are excited to get that padding!
