Snow Reports, Winter

Snow Report February 14

Love is in the air! Forget stuffed bears and chocolate boxes, we received 9 inches of fresh pow to shred – isn’t that a way better gift? Thankfully, we’ll keep getting more and more love as the next few days will continue to be snowy ones. The snow is deep and the turns are surfy as we head into a holiday weekend full of memorable laps.

Snow:

S-N-O-W!! This season has been kind to us and this weekend will be no different. While our total annual snowfall is a few inches shy of 200, the snow we’re expecting between now and Monday will change all of that! Current models show Winter Park being in the middle of a 3-part storm cycle – awesome news for all you powder hounds out there!

The 9” on Thursday is only an appetizer before the weekend kicks into gear. We hope to be waking up to upwards of 8” in the morning so make some phone calls and make this long weekend even longer! Saturday will be ANOTHER powder day with 6+ inches falling beginning on Friday evening. This is a huge snow weekend and with the holiday on Monday you’re setup for some all-time riding!

Ski:

Fresh snow makes everything more fun. Try those new tricks, explore those exciting steeps, or work on getting comfy in the deep stuff. Whatever your weekend goals are you’ll be skiing on soft snowy-goodness, so don’t be afraid to try something new!
