Wednesday, July 3
It’s time to head to the mountains! Pack up the car and hit the road to be in Winter Park by dinner time.
Evening: Wednesday night means catching some tunes in the heart of the Village at Winter Park Resort. The Campfire Music Series plays host to a selection of regional and local talent. Kick back and relax to live music at the base of Winter Park Resort.

Dinner: After enjoying the local sounds take a short walk to Vertical where you and the entire crew will enjoy a menu full of delicious fare with a comprehensive drink menu to match.
Thursday, July 4
Happy Fourth! Celebrate with a day of exploring all that Winter Park has to offer.
Breakfast: A day of action requires a hearty breakfast and Coffee and Tea Market is your best bet to get all of the members of your adventure gang fueled up and ready to go! Be sure to order hearty breakfast sandwich to fuel all your morning activities. Plus – catch some rays on their outdoor patio!
Morning: Purchase an Activity Day Pass at the base of the resort to take advantage of all the action both on and around the mountain. Spend the morning working on your putting, climbing the ropes course, cruising down the Alpine Slide, and soaking in the sun before stepping on to The Gondola for a view-filled ride to the top.

Lunch: Find a spot on Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge’s expansive deck for a scenic lunch in the Rockies. Enjoy the views, and your delicious meal, while perched high above the Rockies. Take your time and enjoy a few beers or refuel to get back to the fun.

Afternoon: Time to get back to the action. Warm up your legs for your weekend in the mountains with a family-friendly hike to Fantasy Meadow. This guided hike offers stunning views and rich expanses of high-alpine wildflowers!
Dinner: It’s time to head into town for a night full of fun! Enjoy a delicious dinner at any of the restaurants in Cooper Creek Mall, followed by drinks outside and some live music at Hideaway Park Brewery right across the street. Music, beer, and live tunes – the perfect start to the night!

Celebrate: Make your way to the Rendezvous Events Center for an evening of free family fun. Live music, face painting, carnival games, and more! Fireworks will follow so be sure to bring a blanket, or use one of the community chairs to set up your spot.
Friday, July 5
Rise and shine, time to hit the trail!
Breakfast: Start the day with a local pick for breakfast at Goodys Creperie. Featuring a menu stacked with sweet and savory crepes and more, this unique breakfast spot is a local favorite and only steps away from your lodging at the base.
Morning: Lace up the hiking boots and get ready for a hike! See unmatched sights and take in the purple mountain majesty, first hand. Book a guided hike to the Cirque for incredible views and a great workout, all while learning about the ecology and history of Winter Park from your guide.

Lunch: A good hike is bound to work up an appetite and Doc’s Roadhouse is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch in the heart of the Village. Soak in the sun, and views of the action on the mountain, as you enjoy a satisfying meal on one of Winter Park’s best patios.
Afternoon: Friday afternoon is the perfect time to hit the links… no golf clubs needed though! Winter Park is home to a 20-hole Frisbee golf course located at the top of The Gondola. The course is free to play but you’ll need to purchase a pass for The Gondola, or hike the Ute trail, to get you to the first tee box.

Dinner: Be a part of something special with the July 5th Farm to Table Dinner. Featuring a menu comprised of locally sourced, fresh food this dinner is the perfect kick-off to your Village Uncorked weekend. Seats are limited so book now!
Evening: Friday night in the Village is movie night! Cozy up under the stars and enjoy How to Train Your Dragon to bring the day to a close. Pro tip: stop by City Pop in the Village for your movie munchies!
Saturday, July 6
Kids Camp, Village Uncorked, bowling, and more!
Breakfast: Start the day with a sweet treat for the kids when you make a stop at Waffle Cabin in the Village. Customize your Belgium Waffle with anything your heart desires before starting your Saturday. The kids will love this one!
Morning: Time for the kids to Venture Out! Sign them up for a day filled with adventure and exploration courtesy of Camp Idlewild! Saturdays at Camp Idlewild include a nature hike, a picnic, and all the activities your kids can handle while learning about the natural world around them. Camp begins at 8am at the Hill House and goes all day until 4pm.

Lunch: With Village Uncorked kicking off at noon we suggest getting some food in the belly before the sipping starts. Try out Doc’s Roadhouse for a great lunch menu and only steps away from all the Village Uncorked action.
Afternoon: Time to wine and dine. Pick up your wine glass when you check in at the registration tent before venturing into the festival. With endless wine and cheese samples, seminars, art on display, and live music, you’ll have no problem filling up your afternoon, and your glass! Stop by Back Bowl for the Sip and Succulents class for a glass of wine and tips on how to care for your succulent arrangement!

Dinner: The kids are done with camp, the wine fest has come to a close, and it’s time for another Rocky-Mountain dinner. Share your tales from the day over a specialty pizza from Pizza Pedl’r in the Village. Voted Colorado’s best pizza, these pies are the real deal. Order ahead to have a pizza picnic on the lawn or snag a seat and enjoy your slices out on the patio.
Evening: Venture into town and hit the lanes at the Foundry for some classic family fun. Everyone loves to bowl and the Foundry is the best place to do it. Perfect for every age, this is an activity that just won’t ever go out of style. Plus, the Foundry has a full movie theater so check their movie listings if you’re in the mood to catch a flick!
Sunday, July 7
Make the most of your last day in the mountains with this alternative route through a National Park!
Breakfast: A breakfast from Sharky’s is a must-do for any visit to Winter Park. From omelets to pancakes and everything in between, you can’t go wrong when choosing off this loaded menu. Pro tip: Sit upstairs for a unique and cozy atmosphere.
Morning: Its 4th of July weekend and there’s nothing more American than visiting one of our incredible natural wonders. Few people know that
Rocky Mountain National Park has an entrance in Grand Lake so you’ll be going against the flow of traffic as you experience the wonders of this natural gem. Hike, fish, or soak in the views from the comfort of your car as you make your way through the park. Be sure to drive up Trail Ridge Road for breathtaking views before exiting the park on US-36 to head home.
